Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
1 cup shortening
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
6 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda
12 oz. chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream peanut butter, shortening, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Add eggs. Add flour, salt, and soda.
Drop by tbsp. fulls onto cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork in a criss-cross pattern.
Bake for 7 - 8 minutes or until just beginning to brown.
