Huli Huli BBQ Sauce


1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. light brown sugar
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. fresh minced ginger root
1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes


Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Simmer until sugar is melted. Set aside to cool.

Serve on chicken or pork with grilled pineapple.
