Buttermilk Batter

½ cup buttermilk
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
2 tbsp. cornstarch
¼ tsp. kosher salt

Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until there are no lumps. Dredge assorted veggies in batter and deep fry until tender.

Yields: 1 Cup
